April 25, 2017 3rd Period Jackie Robinson Jackie Robinson deserves a monument in Washington D.C. Jackie Robinson is a great role model, not only for his baseball skills but his bravery. Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier for African Americans to be able to play in the Major Leagues. Jackie fought and scratched his way through the racial comments and all of the nasty things that came with being an African American. Jackie was also a civil rights activist. Jackie told his wife “It doesn’t matter the color of my skin, I will play major league baseball.” Robinson was not only a baseball player, he played many of sports including track, football, and basketball. Jackie signed with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947. Branch Ricky signed him and said, “I want a player who does NOT have the guts to fight back.” Jackie Robinson was a wonderful person and baseball player. Jackie was a fighter and the word “Can’t” wasn’t in his vocabulary. Jackie repeatedly said, “It doesn’t matter the color of my skin, I will play Major League baseball.” I think Jackie Robinson's monument should be with Martin Luther King Jr. and Harriet Tubman's monuments in Washington D.C. because they were all civil rights activist. "You can be successful and not significant."
You can be poor and significant. Just because you have a bunch of money doesn't mean you are significant, if you are significant you have made an impact on somebody elses life or the world. You can also be successful and not significant too. Most successful people somewhat keep to their selves and don't try to be significant. FBI Paper
Shane Vanderpool 3/7/17 3rd Period Ever wondered if you were being tracked or looked at? The FBI shouldn’t be able to hack iPhones because of our constitutional rights. Our 4th amendment does not state that a corporation has to help the law enforcement. According to Randall G. Holcombe author of Apple CEO was right to defend basics, “Apple phones have features that protect the privacy of the information on them, and the Fourth Amendment guarantees people this right to privacy. Our 4th amendment is stating that we have our right to keep our things private if we want to. If you go against the constitutional rights it’s like people don’t care about the constitution and our rights as an American citizen. If the government starts going against the constitution, they begin a slow process of taking away American rights. According to Whitt Flora author of Apple's refusal to cooperate harms FBI's counterterrorism effort, Our political leaders have been slow to heed those warnings. Now, hopefully, they are starting to realize that World War III might have already started. It will not end until we eliminate the tens of thousands of extremists eager to carry out horrible attacks. The 4th amendment is OUR rights as American citizens. What we do on our own time with things we paid for shouldn’t concern anyone. The government is so tied up in what everyone else is doing when they hardly do their own jobs. If our government could get a grip we wouldn’t have all of this terrorism. If you get a phone do the right things on it so we don’t have to go through all of this trouble. The FBI wants to keep Americans safe, but American rights too. According to Randall C. Holcombe author of Apple's refusal to cooperate with the FBI was the right thing to do I have seen arguments that Apple refused to unlock the phone for business reasons, to protect the value of its brand. Americans have the right to possess information without having to share it with the government. And Apple has the right to provide products that help Americans protect this right. We have our rights for a reason. Our constitution has been here since September 17, 1787. It’s not just a piece of paper, it’s a document to protect us and to make sure we don’t get overthrown by our government. Our government is a big part to our problems as a country. We also have a lot of problems with letting immigrants into our country. Terrorism plays a big role in our country also. ISIS is a big deal and all of the shootings that happen. Shane Vanderpool
Jan. 11,2017 3rd Period Is being a celebrity worth all of the stress? I don't think all of the stress is worth making millions. Fame and fortune is not worth all of the stress that goes along with it. I wouldn't want to be famous because you wouldn't even be able to leave your house without it being a big deal. You couldn't even do the little things such as going to the mall or walking your dog down the sidewalk without somebody taking pictures or staring at you. When people are taking pictures of you when you're famous those pictures get tweeted out or Instagrammed. If I was famous I wouldn't want all of those pictures of me getting on people's snapchat, Instagram, facebook, or even twitter. Fame and Fortune is not worth all of the stress that goes with it. Life on the stage is different from everyday life at home. Famous people can't so much as walk their dog or tie their shoes without being gawked at, photographed, tweeted about, or Instagrammed. Being famous may seem like a cakewalk to you, but it really isn’t. Some famous people get depressed and some do drugs because of the job that they have. According to Can fame make you happy, Beyonce said "that though she likes attention when she’s onstage, she’d be happier if she "cut it off" when she's not performing and just live her life." Lawrence says "Just stepping outside my door gives me anxiety." Beyonce loves attention while on stage, but she doesn’t want all of the attention when she isn’t on stage. Money isn’t the most important thing in life. According to Can fame make you happy, “Jennifer Lawrence earns more money from one movie than most people make in a lifetime. Plus, she gets amazing perks, like free clothes from top designers, front-row seats at prestigious award shows, and trips around the world.” Just because you have a ton of money doesn’t mean you are anymore better than the normal people in our society. Some people’s life doesn’t revolve around money like celebrities lives do. A person could make all the money in the world and not be happy, but if you like what your job is and make a lot of money than that’s a different story. According to Can fame make you happy, “Clearly, not all stars crumble under the pressures of fame. Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Will Smith, and Justin Timberlake—all of whom became famous as teens—seem to be doing fine.” It may seem cool to make a ton of money as soon as you get out of school. If you really look at it when you have all that money when you’re young then you get into drugs and alcohol like Justin Bieber did. Young stars think it is cool to follow in older rappers footsteps and do a bunch of drugs. When you think about it in the long run it is just going to affect what your future holds. Fame and Fortune is not worth all of the stress that goes with it. If I were to be famous, I don’t think I could take all the stress that most of these famous people do. The world doesn’t revolve around money like some famous people think it does. Famous rappers say that life on stage is different than life off the stage. Some famous people want to just cut off the attention when they are off stage. Shane Vanderpool 10/31/16 3rd Period Donald Trump Donald Trump is a 2nd amendment person. Donald Trump wants to keep all of our guns and cut common core from our schools. Donald Trump is a man of his word, if he says he’s going to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN than he is going to. I am saying Vote for Donald Trump for President 2016. Donald Trump wants to protect 2nd amendment rights. According to “ontheissues”, “No guns for people on terrorist watch-list.” Donald Trump says, “Mass shootings are due to a huge mental health problem.” According to “ontheissues”. According to “huffington post”No. “I am a 2nd amendment person. If we had guns in California on the other side where the bullets went in the different direction, you wouldn't have 14 or 15 people dead right now.” Trump thinks we should have guns because it is our constitutional rights. The guns protect not only ourselves, but our family members also. If we didn’t have guns then how would we protect ourselves in situations we don’t know what to do. Donald Trump says, “The most of these mass shootings are from mental illness.” Hillary Clinton wants to keep common core. Trump said, “and, by the way in favor of Common Core, which is a disaster.”We're going to be cutting tremendous amounts of money and waste and fraud and abuse. But, no, I'm not cutting services, but I am cutting spending. But I may cut Department of Education-- Common Core is a very bad thing. I think that it should be local education. If you look at a Jeb Bush and some of these others, they want children to be educated by Washington, D.C. bureaucrats. Common core should be cut from our public schools. I don’t want it to be cut just because I’m in school, I don’t want future generations having to do the things we have to do now as students. Common Core goes through unnecessary steps. A problem that is simple goes through all the steps that you're supposed to do when you could just do it and get it over with. Trump does not believe climate change is real. According to “On the issue”, "You look back and they were calling it global cooling and global warming and global everything, but you look back and the biggest tornadoes were in the 1890s, the biggest hurricanes were in the 1860s and 1870s. It's weather. You're going to have bad weather.” According to “procon.org”, “I call it weather. Maybe there's a little bit of change, I don't happen to believe it’s man made." Global Warming is just a normal thing that nature does. There is no need to shut down all the coal fired power plants or anything like that. There is more than just coal causing global warming. If humans are causing global warming then why don’t you stop the production of cars and other gas powered transportation. Donald Trump is the right choice for America, he seems like he has a good grip on things and the way he is gonna do them. Donald Trump wants to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, and he can do that by kicking all the illegal immigrants out. If we let anyone in our country then we are pretty much letting terrorist into our country. embody, exasperate, fiasco, garnish, heritage

I have many goals this year, I want to get good grades and play my hardest in football and basketball. I also want to do great academically, so i'm not sitting the bench during games. My second goal is to mature and not get in trouble all the time. One of my long term goals is to play football, basketball, and baseball in high school. One of my biggest goals is to get good grades and get a scholarship to a big college for sports. I've always wanted to play basketball or baseball at Ohio State University. I've always dreamed of playing in the NFL or MLB, but you have to have good grades to do that. I need to work hard and get my work done.

If you have screenflow at your job you could use it to record how your supposed to clock in and out. If they work in a store you can show them what to do at work. When you do this you could export it to the desktop and show it at an Orentation.

JJ Watt is a very inspirational person to young football players, everybody wants to be like him. 1.) Argument - Noun - an exchange of diverging or opposite views, typically a heated or angry one.
